An administrator and qualified professional with experience as an alternative family living provider, Priscilla Everette Oates leads operations at Tarboro, North Carolina’s PGIC, Inc., as the chief executive officer and executive director. Her work in this position involves the development of person-centered plans that meet the specific clinical needs of each person and the subsequent monitoring of these plans. She also works with individuals in problem-solving and daily living skills development. She manages similar responsibilities in her leadership position with D·POM, LLC, a services provider she founded in 2005. Priscilla Everette Oates has also served as the mayor of Princeville, North Carolina. She was the youngest black mayor in the state’s history.
